We have loved all the examples that the various suppliers design teams have created with the new ranges, OK so the papers are lovely to look at but actually seeing projects completed with them really does make a huge difference.

Tonight we met up with Sarah and Liane (Sarah's Cards) for an after the show beverage and decided to go on for dinner.  Of course a night out with the GoGo Girls never goes by without a few laughs and tonight we did indeed have a few chuckles:D

The wind really picked up, so much so that the palm trees were swaying too and fro and very black clouds started to appear above our heads. Walking (you wanna walk?) was not an option so a lovely driver with a very smart black car took us to our destination - well the one he thought we would like to go to rather than the one we had asked to go to :lol:

After a hard days work walking the hall of CHA what better way to relax than come home and bake some Gingerbread Cookies - a special treat for Lisa after she finished her homework! ;)

In truth, the Doodlebug Set was so cool, that we had a little fun, but you'll notice that the sheer mention of cooking and kitchen - and Lorraine is nowhere to be seen!!!

Jon at Doodlebug was a great sport and took some other photos of us all which we hope to get tomorrow.

Wowza, the first day of the show has flown by! A much smaller show all round but all our favourite companies are here and a smaller show with fewer people means we get to chat for longer with our lovely suppliers... although Janice and Lisa didn't quite behave on the Doodlebug set but more on that later!

We have already started working on our long and plentiful lists for orders, and we are really looking forward to sharing with you all the exciting lines we have coming up. As usual we have selected GoGo favs as well as designing exclusive products to work alongside our kits that you all love and have come to expect.

It has been fun to go from 100 deg hot and humid weather to the booths with Christmas lines - somewhat bizarre but great all the same!

Well, our first day had to be spent shopping and what better start than the Prime Outlets Mall along International Drive. Lots of lovely shops and bargains to be had, although we both were very restrained and only came home with two shopping bags each!! I am not giving it away WHERE we shopped but we visited, amongst many, this glorious shop! We both know a certain young lady that will be very, very jealous!

 

We visited every Handbag Shop possible, every Perfumery and Cosmetic Shop, every outlet that sold watches and quite a few in between. Great day but very tired feet!

Tomorrow - we have a very exciting day planned! Michaels, Florida Mall, Target and then hopefully meeting up with friends for dinner!

However - although it is fab to be shopping, we cant wait for the show to start so we can see all those lush new goodies!

Safe flight, nice food, hilarious movies all made for a quick journey to Orlando. We passed the Convention Centre on the taxi ride from the airport to the hotel and boy it is HUGE, can't wait to walk those aisles and visit the wonderful booths!

The weather is HOT and humid, both of which I don't do:lol: So therefore our air con in our room at the hotel is full blast and we are living in a room sized fridge!

What a lovely clean and comfy room it is too, and how nice of them to decorate it in a GoGo green colour:D

 

 We are off to the Florida Mall later - well it has to be done doesn't it:D

I have always loved Jenni Bowlin's designs, even before she started to produce her own lines, I remember back in the 'early days' of when I really fell for her style when she designed for Lil Davis - gosh now there is a blast from the past!

The Jenni Bowling booth ALWAYS looks fab! Almost like a room set, WOW how I would just love to have her booth in my fornt room:D  Her assitant Mellisa is always a sweetheart with a warm hug and smile - or is that because we take UK chocolate?:)

Jenni Bowlin comes up with the cutest ideas , and these Memo Books are no exception!

till we fly out to CHA in Orlando and getting ready to walk the halls of the New Orange County Convention Centre in search of lots of fabulous products to bring you in the forthcoming kits, and at the next Getaways!

My current favourite and one that I cannot wait to see in real life is the new Mistletoe & Co range from Pink Paislee!  In fact I am just loving all their new ranges and we are so pleased to see that they have now gone 'double sided'.

I do love it when we start to see the new lines that will be showcased at the show, some you expect to be along the sames lines as others and then there are those that just make your day and put a great big smile of your face! For me that has to be Sassafras every time:D

There lines maynot always be everyone's 'thing' but you have to admit they are unique, fun and vibrant; there lines really do put the pizazz and zest into crafting and make it so much more appealing to the younger generation to!

My favourite must have so far has to be this range...

Where do the months go? We are in full preparation mode for CHA once again, although we are a little sad that it isn't held in Chicago this Summer - boy do we LOVE that city! Of course we are not there for the city (but it would be rude not to sight see wouldn't it!) but to view the endless rows of booths and handpick products for the next few months of Kits:)

 

 

We really do have our work cut out for us this time round as we have 6 months worth of Kit supplies to source, 24 Getaway Class Kits PLUS numerous Day Events Class Kits for 2010! The feet are trembling just thinking about it.

Having already viewed most of the new releases and previews emailed to us from all the companies, I must say we are really exicted; sometimes the Summer Show has smaller releases but quality not ..... Read More
