A Big GoGo Welcome...

to our newest Design Team member of GoGo Create, Laura Buckingham.

We were simply bowled over by the stunning designs Laura submitted as Guest Designer for July Happy Days Kit, so much so, we invited her to join us as a member of the team; we are proud to say that Laura said yes!

We are sure that you will all join us in saying a warm hello to Laura and will be as excited as us here at GoGo HQ to see Laura's work in the future.

We will leave you with one of Laura's lastest creations using the upcoming Happy Days Kit.

Happy Days G2P

For those of you that are unware of the 'GoGo Glossary', G2P stands for Go 2 Pieces.

So you may ask is 'going 2 pieces' a good thing - sure is when you love to receive bits and bobs and little unusual embellishments that will make your Create Kit go even further.

Recently we have changed the packaging from clear plastic pillow boxs to brown kraft bags, one of the big reasons for doing this is so that we can fit larger, odd shaped items in the bags but another bonus is how easy these brown kraft bags are to recycle.

July Happy Days G2P if a fun eclectique mix of texture and colour.

Each pack features the following:

1 6x6 Lavendar Striped Fabric

1 6x6 Retro Swirl Fabric

1 6x4 Prima Dress ..... Read More

Unexpected

Expect the unexpected and be inspired to scrap in the new 'half page' size. Try it once and you will be hooked, we didn't expect to enjoy half page scrapping as much as we did - totally unexpected!

Laura Buckingham guests this month and we just adored her 6x12 layout as soon as it appeared in our inbox. Fresh, funky and neatly displayed on a half sheet of Bazzill Laura's design really does capture the fun she is having.

A swipe of white paint on top of the letter stickers reveals a cool effect once the stickers have been pulled off. what a fab way to add a title to a colourful layout.

We hope you will join us in giving this alternative layout ..... Read More

Close Up On Happy Days...

Love them or hate them, close up shots of designs can really showcase the depth, texture and intricate details on designs.

Over the next couple of days we would like to share some of these close ups shots so that you see up close and personal the beautiful designs that the Design Team have been busy creating with July Happy Days Kit.

Karen Moss has been busy cutting out elements from one of the patterned papers from Happy Days, all the little circles from the flowers and butterflies have been curled and shaped to add the most stunning dimension - doesn't it make you want to reach out and stroke:)

July

Sue Jones has been having fun with July's Stamp set and some colouring pens:)

A simple clean stamp image on white cardstock combined with coloured highlighting looks great, notice too how Sue has added ..... Read More

This Month, Last Month...

Now we are sure that a lot of our members must have a few left over strips of paper, letter stickers and a handful of embellishments from the previous months kit when the latest kit drops on the door mat:)

If you love to use up all those bits and pieces then why not take part in our new challenge 'This Month, Last Month'.

Its so simple to enter ~ all you need to do is use a little of the previous months kit along with the current month, upload to the special Gallery entiled 'This Month, Last Month' and you have a chance to win a prize.

Helen Miles has submitted a beautiful example to showcase just how well this works.

Ifa's Product Review - American Crafts White Galaxy Marker

Welcome to our first edition of a Design Team members Product Review, these will feature each month and highlight a designers favourite product and its uses, a product that will be coming to you in your next kit!

Ifa was delighted to hear that we were including an American Crafts White Galaxy Marker in July Create Kit. Ifa first dicovered these pens in March this year and promptly went out and bought a few more to stock up. You will receive the Medium Tip within July Create Kit but also available is a Bold Tip, as yet American Crafts have yet to introduce a Fine Tip version but we are going to ask them very nicely when we meet with them at CHA if they can produce one at some point:)

The problem with most white pens is that the ink tends to soak into the cardstock however the White Galaxy Marker does not. The ..... Read More

We Could Have Had a Yellow Bicycle...

July

Strolling along through the halls of Winter CHA we were intrigued to see an old fashioned yellow bicycle floating above the tops of the booths. So intrigued infact that we made our way straight over to the booth to investigate a little more. What we found were so many gorgeous new products that we actually forgot to take a closer look at the bike above our heads.

Before leaving the booth we entered the competition (not really knowing what the prize was:lol:) but considering that the 'entry' was simply to place a business card within the box we didn't have to do too much and nothing to loose.

Image our surprise when we heard someone shout out 'Janice Warren' across the halls from the Little Yellow Bicycle booth - although we couldn't act on that call as we were busy with ..... Read More

Remarks!

American Crafts are a long standing favourite of ours, we love the quality of their products as well as the latest ideas they are using for new items.

Remarks Stickers are fun to use and really do dress up a layout or project, we didn't think the range could get any better until they launched the Remarks Journaling Books.

July

Quirky and fun to use, these gorgeous Remarks Journaling stickers will have you adding important journaling to any project you create.

Our Guest Designer this month (all will be revealed soon) has needed no incouragement to get using the stickers...

Check back tomorrow for more brand highlights and Sneek Peeks.

Brand Watch

We all have our favourite brands (or many!) some of us simply love the style of a certain brand, some of us may like the quality of the paper that a brand uses - whatever the reasons, it is exciting to watch for the new releases from our favourite brands.

ScrapaGoGo has favourites too, we LOVE Making Memories new 'Animal Crackers' line - although this range is themed around babies and toddlers there are some papers that were crying out to be teamed with some of the others selected for July Create.
